Privacy Policy
LingoShot respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app collects, why, and how you can control it.
Data Collection
- Name: if you sign in with Google or Telegram, your display name is used to identify your account and sync progress across devices. Playing as a guest collects no account info.
- Email: we do not collect or store your email address. Google Sign-In may ask for an email as part of the login process, but it is used only by your device to complete sign-in and is never sent to or stored on our servers.
- Game Statistics: points, streaks, and learned words are saved to our secure database (Firebase).
- Usage Analytics: anonymous, aggregated usage data (e.g. which game modes are played) collected via PostHog to improve the app.
Data Sharing
Your account name and game statistics are stored with Google Firebase. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the "Delete Account" button in your profile settings. This action is permanent.
Children's Privacy
LingoShot is designed to be usable by learners of all ages under a parent's or guardian's guidance. We do not knowingly collect more information from children than described above.
